Ken Ishii has been sculpting his own strain of techno since before Japan had fully embraced the sound. Operating from Tokyo, he's developed a distinctive approach that moves fluidly between driving techno, minimal textures, and ambient soundscapes—each genre a different lens on the same obsession with electronic sound design. Beyond the booth, Ken also co-brews at KIKK IPA, bringing the same meticulous attention to detail that defines his productions. With his latest work 'SCAPEGOAT' out now on SWAY, Ken continues to carve his path as both producer and DJ, proving that patience and vision can create something uniquely personal in a genre that's often about following the moment.
