Born in Kagawa in 1968, artist and media creator Takashi Utagawa has been active in various fields since the late 1980s, including video art, graphic design, and academia. He founded the pioneering live streaming studio DOMMUNE in 2010, which has gained international acclaim, participating in numerous exhibitions worldwide and attracting over 100 million viewers. Utagawa continues to innovate with DOMMUNE, evolving it into "SUPER DOMMUNE" and receiving the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award in 2021.
