The brothers Beauz have created a distinct brand of dance music they call Psy Pop 2.0. The name says it all — pop song structure complete with sultry lyrics fused with the unrelenting momentum and force of hard techno and psy-trance. It's a winning cocktail and the duo spent 2023 releasing over 10 tracks this year. Riding high off last year's collaboration with Zedd, the two kept the energy pumping with tunes like the infectious ‘Colors Of The Rainbow’ and the party anthem, ‘Rave Machine’.
They also spent the year touring more than ever — bringing their so-called ‘BADDIE UP’ energy across the US and the globe. With new singles dropping like they are going out of style, Beauz are just getting started. Hero of 2023: “Ben Nicky.”
Fave tune of 2023: “Ben Nicky and Distorted Dreams ‘Adagio For Strings’.”
Best DJ set you’ve seen in 2023: “Darren Styles at SSK Festival, Thailand.”
What was the most exciting tech development of 2023? “Instagram Reels — now every DJ and producer and artist gets a shot at huge exposure.”
Rising star DJ/producer of 2023: “This is the year of Brazilian DJs including Mochakk, Liu, VINNE, Victor Lou just to name a few.”
What gives you hope for 2024? “With the pandemic behind us, the dance music scene can only get better from here.”
