TRASHMISSION BERLIN - a weekly three hour long DJ session hosted by Kat Kat Tat (Planetkat.com/Meoko/Mixmag) - was born in Buenos Aires. As a part of Wicked Mag's activities in Buenos Aires, Kat hosted a radio show called Wicked Frequencies on Radio Salon Berlin every week whilst also organizing an event called Trashmission.
When resettling in Berlin, she started to trashmit on www.8bitzradio.com every Saturday, from 22 to 24 hs CET as the two dudes from 8bitz, generously offered a slot to keep trashmitting from the other side of the globe.
The idea was to create a mental bridge between Kats two creative and spiritual homes, Berlin and Buenos Aires.
The initial concept, to trashmit a freshly mixed up Kat DJ set every week, is now enhanced, as she shares the studio with another DJ or entity who will also record a set... every week. From 22 pm to 1 am.
