in my mind I can't read music, I don't know chord progressions, and I have no knowledge of instruments, so I just play the keyboard following my instincts and how I feel like playing at the time. That's also my policy.
I don't generally sample, but only when making remixes of existing songs, and I also love playing the melodies I create while searching for the "ultimate" sound.
I like electronica, ambient, hip hop and lo-fi, and these are the main genres I create and work on!
