SUPER DJ DMITRY

DJ Dmitry is known internationally as a DJ, producer and co-founder of the seminal New York dance group Deee-lite. In 1990 they released their worldwide smash hit, Groove Is In The Heart, which still packs dance floors today and which Rolling Stone Magazine recently called one of 10 best dance tracks of all time. After releasing five albums, eleven number one dance hits and touring around the world the group disbanded in '95. Dmitry continued DJ'ing, moving crowds around the globe from Hong Kong to Jerusalem and from Berlin's Love Parade to Brazil's Rock In Rio. He was given a DJ of the year award in the party capital of the world, Ibiza.
DJ Dmitry has made remixes for many artists including Arthur Russell, Jungle Brothers, Sinead O'Connor, Ziggy Marley, Nina Hagen, Ultra Naté and others. He collaborated with Julee Cruise (Twin Peaks/ David Lynch) to release the album "My Secret Life". DJ Dmitry is currently based in Berlin where he continues to DJ, compose, produce and re-mix.
