個人簡介
I don't really know how to define my sound(s). They're almost always a blend of different genres/styles rolled into one. How can you define "electronic music"?? It's just too diverse.
I'm into so many different types that I simply can't decide which one(s) to mainly base my tracks on.
When I first began creating/mixing/producing music when I was just a kid in high school, It was a rush and a buzz to be making beats/loops on simple sequencer programs that I discovered even existed on the net.
Shortly afterward I struggled to define my sound & where I stood genre/stylewise as well as come up with a good (nick) name for myself until one day when a lightbulb went off in my mind that sparked the idea that although I create solid genre-centred material some of the time, my sound can't always be defined or categorised.
Thus, "Styles Collide" It's not just a name. It's a statement.
Music is my life. It's one of my very few loves & passions in this world. I live for music. I am music.
It's my life career dream to be an artist but it's also my greatest dilemma.
To be honest, I like my own material but I greatly want to improve.
At this point, I'm still stuck where I'm at and have been ever since.
I don't know where to go from here. I don't know what steps to take in order to better hone my skills/craft nor do I have the funds to be buying high-end, industry-standard producer program software which I wouldn't have a clue how to properly use anyway.
I'm already 23. Sure, you might think "so what!?, that's young!" Yes, it is but to me, it's already been several years wasted. It's a race against time and I'm rapidly running out of it.
One of my other passions is creating/performing various cover versions of my favourite artist, band, groups' songs/tracks as closely as possible to their original style.
Emulating and/or inpersonating selected various artists is a hobby of mine which I enjoy & take great pride in.
It's my sole intention to sound like the artist & try to sound just as they do on their original studio record(s)
If I can give the illusion that it's as though you're listening to the actual record, then that's both my personal challenge & exactly what I set out to accomplish.
