DJSHAG - CHICAGO

At the age of 6 he was given his first 12" record which sparked initial interest in the world of music. This particular record just happened to be the multi-platinum and to date the best selling album of all time "Thriller". Fast forward 10 years to 1995 and his interest in music had grown to a new level. Recording house mixes heard on late night radio shows almost became a part-time job which in-fact lead to a full time job as he began working for Just Dance Records and Tapes in 1996. His knowledge of managing and purchasing records for the stores led to a 7 year run managing several outfits across the midwest. Immediately the name dj Shag was born and he quickly began to network with industry professionals while releasing countless mix tapes and CD's through out the Mid-west, East-coast and as far as London, UK. With the help of strong industry contacts, good friends, and loyal fans; dj Shag was heard at most of Chicago's premier nightclubs as well as radio and global internet radio.
