RIANRIOT is the name of the project by Rian Duarte, 26 years old, born and raised in Fortaleza, Ceará and now currently residing in São Paulo, who in addition to being a DJ, also works with music production. Passing through parties and beloved collectives from the underground scene such as BUERO, Arena, Trembase, NBOMB, GRADE, LINK, Chernobyl (Berlin), Desculonización (Mexico), Safada (Berlin), Trophy, Matula Records, Club Acid, having his own residency in RIXE RADIO (FR), collaborating with Brazilian and international projects such as Minuit Rapide, Trembase, Vetor Magazine, LATINCORE, Muakk, Banquete, Function, VENENO, Techno São Paulo, UNDRSYSTEM, Aselera, DSTRB, AUX1, Ola Radio and Machete, with tracks present in DJ sets by Boiler Room, Mamba Negra, KIOSK Radio, Atrita, SÓNAR, Dekmantel, Mixmag, NTS, Rinse FM, The Lot Radio, collaborating with artists such as Katy da Voz e as Abusadas, Clementaum, Aya Ibeji, BZZHOUND, El Nick DGO, CyberKills, Mílian Dolla, Sammy Dreams and LAZA, has been attracting attention in the current scene with productions focused on club music, percussive and hypnotic techno and latin club.
His sets emphasize high BPMs, breakbeats and striking kicks, highlighting the fusion of queer references with electronic music from Latin America. His first EP entitled REVOLTA it’s out now and it’s a big collage of references influenced by the Brazilian electronic scene and São Paulo nightlife.⠀⠀
