Parisian DJ and production duo, Cesar and Dorian thrive on taking deep house vibes and giving them a sprinkle of something that elbows its way out of the traditional electronic music framework — call it a nod to the past and a mark of respect to other French trailblazers that have come before them. Pressing the fast-forward button, what have they been up to for the last 12 months? “We’ve been working a lot on our new visual Monolith show and on our song edits, also for the live show,” they say.

Studio-wise, Ofenbach have spent four months preparing their newest single ‘Overdrive’ featuring Norma Jean Martine, a feisty follow-up to ‘Body Talk’, their collaborative anthem with Swedish singer-songwriter SVEA and its accompanying video. Preparations for their live show, a dystopian spectacular with all the trimmings to take place at the iconic Zenith de Paris, have been underway and very much on their minds. Looks like these two are going to ignite and delight their fanbase with something magnificently monolithic. Hero of 2023: “Mick Jagger (still making albums at 80).”
