Ive been asked by many to define the origin of my name...Obra Primitiva.
When my passion for music peaked I went as far as researching the origin of music itself. Music in general, in it's more simplistic form... The beat. Any art form is a creation, an expression out of oneself. We mirrored rhythmic music from the beat of out own heart. Obra-in Spanish means "a work, creation or interpretation". My work is music deriving from beats. "Primitiva" means primitive. From heartbeat to rhythm. My sets and productions have a strong aboriginal, percussive rhythmic base. The foundation of music itself. A single beat is the generation of aural power that stimulates every human sense. That is why we dance to the beat of a drum. I'm a simple drummer bringing the masses together.
