Biography
My name is Mike Whyte, though I perform under the pseudonym Mykadelica.
I am an electronic musician based in Central London (Border Zone 1) - so any London venue is accessible between 10 minutes to 1 hour, and I can get get to Cambridge easily within an hour.
My main music style is Electronic music - so Techno, Electro, Electronica - made using both a laptop and live instrumentation
I can also dj under the name DJ Mykadelica - playing Drum and Bass, Experimental, Drill and Bass, Glitch, Ambient, Chillout, Trance, Hip Hop (mainly Old Skool) and Indie (with a specialism in '90's Britpop) - should you either be interested in that (or to also provide a dj set along with my live performance)
I have played at a range of venues in and around London - including the Foundry in Old Street, The Social in Central London, Camden Rock in Camden, Power Lunches in Dalston, Camden Head in Camden, Purple Turtle in Camden, The Miller at London Bridge, Blag Club in Westbourne Park, Nambucca on Holloway Road, as well as having my own fortnightly/ monthly nights at Loom in Central London, Arch 635 in Clapham South, Fiddlers Elbow in Camden, a dj/vj/live takeover at Oxford Modern Art Gallery in Oxford and regularly djing between bands at Proud Galleries, Camden Lock Market.
I also have had a track released of the Computer Music cover disc, as well as an ep released on WEATNU records.
