MJ Sly is one of the most accomplished DJs in the UK club scene having built a long-standing reputation for his versatility and technical ability. Renowned for dazzling crowds with his quick mixing and exclusive material, MJ has performed internationally as well as in almost every town/city across the UK.
An eclectic DJ, who has spent the past 20 years perfecting his skills and widening his musical knowledge, from the underground to commercial, MJ Sly's ability to read a crowd and shape his set accordingly has seen demand for his time increase year on year.
The youngest of 3 brothers in a family of music lovers, MJ Sly has wide and varied music taste and from humble beginnings doing local house parties and community events, MJ kept up his appetite for DJing throughout his university years working with Warner/Atlantic records DJ-ing across the UK. During this time, he supported US Hip Hop artists Cassidy and Twista on tour, performed at Wales biggest dance music festival 'Escape into the Park' and mixed an album promotional CD for Jamaican Dancehall artist Cham of which 20,000 copies were distributed by Atlantic Records nationwide. More recently, MJ has featured on BBC Radio 1Xtra and performed in key international locations.
