Few personalities in the LA Music scene have done more to push electronic music forward than Mick Cole. The UK expatriate has traveled far since planting his roots firmly on L.A. soil in 1987.
From working the seedy backroom dance floors of the rave club scene as a premier chill-out dj in the early nineties to US label manager for iconic British dance label Deconstruction Records in the latter. From tea boy at KROQ to broadcasting the sounds of the Universal underground for Groove Radio and the Aussie based SPIKE Radio network in early 2K. Cole has always carried a passion for his music collection.
Coles most notable accomplishments are L.A.’s longest running weekly dance club night The Monday Social and the legendary Moonshadows Blue Lounge. Two of L.A.’s trendiest hangouts for music fine food and goodtimes.
