Mechanimal is the Psy-Trance project of Nick Sagar-House, based in Barcelona. Born in London’s underground scene in 2009, Mechanimal began as a collaboration between Nick and Junior Olivier, the promoter of Psy Invasion, driven by their shared passion for heavy, psychedelic music.

The project quickly gained momentum, igniting London’s warehouses with electrifying performances and releasing standout EPs on Mutagen Records, 24/7 Records, and Grasshopper Records. These early successes paved the way for an exciting future, leading to a career-defining performance at Universo Paralello—one of the world’s most renowned festivals. While this achievement reinforced their dedication to Psy-Trance, it also marked a turning point as Junior returned to Brazil to launch his solo project, Earbug, and the duo amicably parted ways.

Nick carried the Mechanimal project forward, beginning a new chapter with the release of his debut album, Inertia. The album soared to the top of the charts, claiming the number 1 spot and cementing Mechanimal’s status in the global Psy-Trance scene. Since then, Nick’s journey has included unforgettable performances at iconic festivals such as O.Z.O.R.A., Summer Never Ends, and Boomtown Fair.

Now, with over a decade of experience and more than 70 releases, Nick has brought together his love for the Psy-Trance scene in the highly anticipated second album, Digital Nature—a powerful testament to his growth as an artist and his enduring passion for creating vibrant, middle groove Psy-Trance.
