Hiroshi Watanabe, known as Kaito, brings a classically trained foundation to Tokyo's electronic music scene. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston where he studied music composition, Kaito cut his teeth in the New York house and techno circuit before establishing himself as a Tokyo-based artist. His sound spans techno, trance, ambient, and progressive house—a palette that reflects both his formal training and years spent absorbing the underground energy of multiple continents. Based in Tokyo and resident at Nero Soundfactory, Kaito continues to develop his craft across genres that demand both technical precision and emotional depth. Whether navigating the hypnotic pulse of techno or the ethereal textures of ambient, his approach is rooted in composition rather than mere mixing.
