If you are familiar with, or have treated yourself to, the underground House & Techno club scene in Barcelona then you will have undoubtedly danced your night away to Joe Berm flying solo or performing as one half of the awesome Koko & Berm. Jose Manuel Bermudez as he was born in Barcelona 1983 is a great lover of electronic music, a regularly booked up DJ and electronic music producer aficionado.
It all started in 2008 when the purchase of his first computer fell hand in hand with him learning the art of DJing. The early days saw him mixing hardgroove-techno but with the use of Linux Multimedia Sound in 2010 his journey into the world of electronic music production began.
Joes’ first EP, Kan Oriol West, was signed to Freak Audium Records from Germany under the alias of BastardGroove. As his musical tastes widened Joe decided to create a new alias in 2012 to focus purely on House, Tech-House and Techno and the Joe Berm persona was born.
