Biography
In all of his 26 years (31 actually, but he doesn't like to admit it), Jacques Detroit has only ever set foot in France twice, is yet to visit the USA, and is not a direct descendant of a family from either country.
In fact, he’s about as French as Welsh Cakes, and as American as Communism....
Actually, Jacques is nothing more than a guy with a particular fondness of Jackin House & Bass, 59Fifty Hats (size 7 1/8 if you want to buy him a present) and Crabbies Ginger Beer - throw in some Jagermeister, and you've got one happy non-Frenchman on your hands.
So far, under a number of different pseudonyms, Jacques has played for brands and clubs such as Gatecrasher, Cream, Club Azuli, along with others, where his musical style has ranged in everything from Tech-House to Bassline, Deep-House to Dubstep. However, when given the choice, Jacques has always fallen back on the bassier, deeper, but bouncier style of electronic music (or EDM if you’re a daft American)
