I post a vinyl only mix every Thurs , not repeating a previous track unless its an alternate 12" or album mix . I’ve been collecting records since I first went to Wigan Casino as a 13 year old . From Wigan to The Highland Room Blackpool Mecca to jazz funk clubs of Lancashire, the punk clubs of Manchester and Liverpool, and onto Le Beat Route, The Wag, Blitz et al when I moved to London in 1979, to just listening at home, I have collected records which inspired the catwalk shows of our first label Red or Dead and continue to inspire the HemingwayDesign team today. During Covid , and with over 20,000 vinyl records, I decided it was time to do some mixes. . Expect editions of Blue Eyed Black Music, Rare Groove, Underground Disco, Northern Soul, Boogie, Disco , Boogie ,Electronic , Brazilian, Afrobeat, Indie Dance, Punk, Reggae, Yacht , Balaeric. I have spent 4 decades as a designer but what If I were one of them there DJ’s then I would play records like this .
