Hakimi Aziz

Hakimi Aziz began his journey experimenting with VirtualDJ, before being introduced to Traktor - igniting a deeper passion for DJing and sound exploration. Fully self-taught, he independently developed his skills from the ground up, later diving into music production through FL Studio and refining his sound in Ableton Live.

Backed by strong musical fundamentals in piano and experience playing multiple instruments: including keyboard, violin, and melodian, Hakimi brings genuine musicality into both his productions and DJ sets.

He played his first gig on February 2017, marking his entry into the underground scene before stepping into a long hiatus. Nine years later, he returned in August 2025 with a renewed vision and elevated sound.

Now focused on Bigroom Trance, Hakimi delivers a powerful fusion of techno and hard techno, infused with nostalgic old-school trance elements, creating a unique, high-impact sound built for modern dance floors. His recent productions reflect significant growth showcasing polished, festival-ready quality.

An early milestone saw him winning a hardstyle anthem contest, earning a trip to Defqon.1 Australia: a sign of his potential within the harder styles scene.

Self-made, experienced, and now fully evolved—Hakimi Aziz is not just returning, but stepping forward as a serious contender in the Bigroom Trance movement.
