Gregory McIntyre

Originally from South East London Gregory McIntyre, now a Sydney based DJ & Producer has quickly become recognized as one of Sydney’s most exciting DJ talents. From intimate gatherings of music loving friends, to hundreds of people losing their minds in dark warehouses, bars and venues of all varieties including renowned Sydney clubs and globally recognized events such as Circoloco, FACT, Modulate, Space Ibiza and SWITCH to name a few; the principals remain unchanged - forward thinking music.

Influenced at an early age by the raw, ground breaking sounds of Hardcore, Jungle and Drum & Bass that shaped the dance scene of the early 90’s his musical inspirations encompass a love of Soul, Hip-Hop, R&B and House music of the same era. Having gone solo in 2013 after a successful career as a founding member of the popular duo Ampi:fly, Greg continues to develop and evolve his sound, forever pushing the envelope of dance music.

An accomplished DJ of 15 years playing alongside some of the world’s best DJ's including Francesca Lombardo, Matthias Tanzmann, Mr. Doris, Jonathan Ulysees and Yousef , his dexterity behind the decks and broad music knowledge combine in a musical expression of uniquely deep, bassy and melodically driven house music subtly reminiscent of Dubstep, Bass and UK Garage.
Whilst 2013 was an exciting year of countless gigs and prominent events, 2014 promises to be even more exciting for Gregory McIntyre with some big projects about to unfold…
