Giorgio Moroder, born on April 26, 1940, in Ortisei, Italy, is a pioneering Italian record producer and songwriter known for his influential work in electronic music and disco, particularly with Donna Summer's hits like "I Feel Love." He won an Academy Award for his score for "Midnight Express" and has collaborated with notable artists including Phil Oakey and Daft Punk.
