DJ Marquis' electric and innovative blend of sounds has its roots in his DJ career. Marquis began as a fan of all types of music. From jazz to house, to alternative, to hip-hop, his record collection has it all and Marquis incorporates all of these styles into his DJ sets. Understanding that a DJ has the power to not just play music, but to create an atmosphere, he soon began playing across metro Detroit's extensive cabaret / club scene, spinning a mixture of old school, house, hip-hop and current favorites
