Ben González is a key name in the Spanish UK Garage underground, born and raised in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Active since the late 90s, he came up through Breakbeat Hardcore before locking into UK Garage as his core sound.
He’s played across the island’s underground circuit and held residencies at venues like Berlin 89, while pushing his sound through platforms such as Rinse FM France, Mode Radio London and Super 7 Radio. A committed garage purist, his sets run 128–135 BPM, blending classic 2-Step with raw, forward-thinking cuts.
Under the alias DJ Chester, he co-runs Garage Syndicate alongside Monky Records, a vinyl-driven platform built for real heads and real club culture.
