DJ 8-Ball started his DJ'ing career in the early 80's and was part of the Bay Area mobile DJ group movement till the late 90's. He has appeared and mentioned in periodicals such as the New Yorker, The Bomb, The SF Examiner and The Source. He was showcased on KPIX TV news and was a regular DJ on KRON's First Cut. He performed and toured in Japan as part of a DJ entourage and also toured all over California as part of a music group. He appears on Turntable TV videos and CD releases Turntables by the Bay Vol 2 and the Sugar Fraggar Show Vol 3. He has served as judge for both the DMC Bay Area and US Batltle Finals.
8-Ball prefers to play 80's and 90's Hip-Hop and Freestyle genre. Other DJ's also consider him a master at Test Tone skratching.
