DJ Tim Coates

Originally from London, UK, Tim Coates has close to 30 years working professionally as a DJ, initially learning his trade in Leeds, during the early 90's. Since then he has been fortunate enough to perform alongside some of the industry’s biggest names, working with some great musicians, promoters, clubs and brands throughout Europe, Asia and Australia.
Based in S.E Asia since the late 90’s, Tim is regarded as one of the true pioneers of electronic music in Asia. From China to Australia and everywhere in between, he has proven his abilities to work any dance-floor.
Much more than a House and Techno DJ, his ability to create a story with music and take listeners on a journey is the key. With a passion for underground grooves and an ability to seamlessly blend different styles his sets are renowned for their energy and originality.
