Biography
1994, Shark won the Vestax ALL Japan DJ Competition in the technical section.
1996, Shark came 2nd in the DMC Japan final.
1997, Shark got a offer from Technics to develop a mixer. Technics succeeded in developing their own mixer called SH-DJ 1200.SH wasnamed after Shark.
He has also formed DJ team called Beat Tricks. They were playing irregularly around Kyoto.
1999, Shark dropped his first album called “Inqbation” on Mirror Ball/RD Records. This album
was selected as no,2 on the International Hiphop
2000 by Africa Bambata on Zulu Nation website. He also played open up for Africa Bambata,
Q-Bert, Z-Trip, Rader, Five Deez and others.
2000, Shark released his mix tape "Assassin". Also he formed track on "Renegade Scholars～
Japanese Hiphop Flava! 3" It's soldover the asia.
2001, Shark did promotional Mix CD for Big Dada/Ninja Tune in UK.
2002, Shark was invited as a guest DJ at Techinics 30th Anniversary show in Yokohama.
2005 - 2006, Shark moved to NY. He played at End Of The Weak MC challenge and performed as a guest DJ for E.O.W. final MC challenge at BB Kingʼs Bar.Boot Camp Clicks has also performed as special guest at that night. He has spined at club
called Triple Crown in Brooklyn with Large Pro, Steinski, DJ Wiz and some other DJs.
2007, Shark released his Mix CD called "INTODEEPBLUE". He became member of Sputnik
Brown and put his works on their EP named " U having Fun Yet?" by High Water Music.
2008, Shark featured 4th Brooklyn HIPHOP Festival and an event by Fat Beat at Highline
ballroom. He also appeared East VillageRadio.
2009, Shark collaborated with beatboxcer Krussia on Krussia's album. He has a group with
George who is a Vocal of Merauder (Hardcore Hiphop band). The groupe call BALLBUSTAS.
Shark work with Dobleflo's EP which along with Brooklyn Label.
2009-2010, Shark has been throwing Old school HIPHOP party in Brooklyn every month. Many of HIPHOP legend have worked with him. Such
as Grand Master Mell Mel (Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five), Grand Wizard Theodore (inventor of scratch), DJ Spinna, Large
Professor (Mein Source), Rob Swift(X-ecutioners) DP-One, Jeru the Damaja etc…
90年初期からDJ、ターンテーブリストとして活躍し、96年Japan DMC Battleのウエストコーストチャンピオンに輝く。Technicsのターンテーブル、
ミキサーの開発に協力しTechnics初のHIPHOPDJミキサー『SH-1200』は、企画段階からから参加し、今も世界中のDJ達に師事されている。（SH-1200の
SHはSharkから因んだもの。）
数々のアーティスト（MONKY KEN, 元Mondo Grosso、現在瘋癲のメンバー B-BandJ, GM YOSHI,)などとの楽曲をリリース。DJ Suwa（Fu-ten）,DJ
Sanconと共にターンテーブルチームBeattricksを結成、クラブ中心に活動。
1999年、初の自身のアルバム“InqbationをMirror Ball/RC Recordsよりリリース。そのアルバムはアフリカバンバーダの率いるZulu Nationのインターナ
ショナル・ヒップホップ2000年の枠で2位に選ばれる。それからの彼はDJだけではなく、プロデュース業も幅広くこなし、ヒップホップのフィールドに収
まらずレゲエやロックの方面でプロデュースやリミックス等を行う。ライブの方ではバンバーダやQ-bert, Z-trip,Five Deezなどのオープニングも務め、
2002年にはテクニクスの30周年イベントに海外からのゲストと共にスペシャルゲストとしてプレイした。
その後、彼はHIPHOPの聖地ニューヨークに渡りその活動拠点をインターナショナルなものにしていく。
現地ではオールドスクールマンスリーパーティ『Back in da Days』をブルックリンで主催し、数々のHIPHOPレジェンド達との共演を果たす。

様々なクラブプレイを通し、確実に彼の存在をニューヨークに浸透させ、DJとしての存在を世界にアピールしていたと同時に、また、プロデュース業も力を入れており、NYのアーティストとの競演、楽曲リリースも果たした。 B.B King , Highline Ballroom、Knitting factoryなどの歴史ある有名クラブを始め、APT, Nuble, Five Spot, End of the Week, Triple Crown, Deity, Joe's Pubなど、NYの音楽シーンにはかかせないクラブでプレイしてきた。
日本へ帰国後、更なる日本のHIPHOPシーン、クラブシーンを奮い立たせるため、Back in da Days JAPANツアーを行い、NYよりJeru the Damajaをゲストに全国6カ所にBrooklyn旋風を巻き起こした。http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0D4Gxqfp9I
2010年、これまでのNY生活の集大成アルバム"Back in da Days VOL.1"をNORTH SETZよりリリース。
HIP HOPだけではなく、Soul, Funkネタ満載の『Back in da days Vol.1』に続き、2011年には『Back in da Days Vol.2』をNORTH SETZよりリリース。
日本での活動も留まらず、Grand Master Flash京都公演、UMB (Ultimate MC Battle)@Liquid Room、B-BOY商店街@彦根、Keep it real主催 "Fun Kir"@横浜などと、活動の幅を広げていっている。
また、MARC JACOBS(マークジェイコブス)の、ニューヨーク新店舗オープンの広告映像に彼のスクラッチが使われている。
