Biography
- Hailing originally from the U.K. Reload has taken up residency in Sydney Australia. With what he would describe as the ingredients of Jungle Drum and Bass (I.E.Break beat, Reggae, Hip Hop) has stamped his authority as one of the most technical and creative DJ to watch.
- Starting in Australia forming the collective the Archetype Dj's with Misree and a local producer Fr3ddy Fr3d provided the essential building blocks for what was in store for the future. Playing parties for the likes of the famous Foreign Dub DnBBQ, Airbourne, Wax@ kings cross and Swarm parties.
- After Archetype became defunked, Reload became part of Fourth Quadrant and Koncrete Jungle (Australia) after meeting with founders Mode, Aggrovator, Gotham, Michaelis and D-Tek MC. 4Q was the first to promote a boat party with international Dj's playing to great success, with Home residences and regular spots at Chinese Laundry.
- Due to busy commitments, with D-Tek concentrating on his Solo album and Kobrai Kai, Aggrovator, returning to the UK and then Europe, Gotham, well being Gotham is studying medicine not before going over to New Zealand and checking out their snows and DnB, which left Mode and Reload also taking a break.
- He is linked to promotion crew No Frills, who have helped expand the drum and Bass message with their legendary parties at Herman’s, Glasshouse, and their home for many monthly parties Phoenix bar.
- Australia is very much home now, after being well received by party goers and the drum and bass community.
- Playing with the cream of the crop Drum and bass internationals such as, Andy C, Goldie, Drumsound and Simon 'Bassline' Smith, Xample, Calyx and Tee bee, Commix, Phace, SOM, Dj Hype, State of mind', Spor, Danny Byrd, Remarc, Evol Intent, Utah Jazz, Brookes Brothers, Enei to name a few.
He is very much in ore of the vast talent that the country has to offer, name checking the likes of, Dauntless, Person 3, Rit locus, Bionic, Ritual, ALF, Linken and Vertigo, Inna Riddim , Foreign Dub, Low Society, Finesse, Sariss, Visa Versa, Spikey T, Seltay, SFL, Sam the Chemist, B Hopps, I-Dubs, Erecksean aka Commit, Vison, Speaks, Gee Flukz, Vision, MC D-Tech.
So if you see Reload on a flyer, expect the unexpected with fluid mixes and other bits and pieces thrown in for good measure.
