Biography
Becky, Pete and Yoni aka Deuce & Charger met in Leeds, enjoying success as 679 Recordings/Warner signed electro band Heads We Dance.
Now London-based and as Deuce & Charger, they have been breaking on the underground since 2014 with support from tastemaker blogs, channels and radio stations including Bassrush, Less Than 3, Skank & Bass, Magnetic Mag, YourEDM and BassportFM. They have been playlisted on 1Xtra, played on Radio 1 and Kiss Fresh, featured in Mixmag and DJ Mag, and remixed by Dossa & Locuzzed (Viper Recordings), Chords (RAM Records) and Kronology (Technique Recordings).
Summer 2016 saw the release of their huge single, ‘Who Can You Trust?’ (“a summer smasher” – DJ Mag; “fresh to death” – Magnetic Mag) and appearances on two of the year’s biggest drum and bass compilations: Viper’s ‘Summer Slammers’ and Liquicity’s ‘Alchemy 2’.
Deuce & Charger round off 2016 with a brand new double-A-side single ‘A Leap Of Faith’ / ‘The Spirit Guide’, released on In Charge Recordings on 11 November. The single has already won praise from Bassrush, DJ Mag and Magnetic Mag, who described it as ‘proper fire’!
