Detroitologist

I grew up in Michigan and moved to Detroit in 93 to study architecture at the University of Detroit School of Architecture. It took 9 years of ass-dragging work but I finished. The Archy building was pretty cool. It was open all night and that is where the real experiences were made. I liked working at night and the people who were there became good friends. They also liked to party, and that is how I was dragged out to the Warehouse Club one night... and I never stopped loving techno music. I started buying records and came across an old Kenwood turntable that matched the one I already had. I went to the pawn shop and bought a Pyramid mixer and new carts and that became my life outside the study of architecture and planning. One of the best students at our school began dj'ing about the same time and since we were already friends and were going out to parties we naturally started dj'ing together. We always did it for the love of the music, the parties and the people, and the city.
