Biography
AKIRA a.k.a A.BPM (TREKs / maniac I.Q )
1990代後半に日本でDJキャリアをスタートし、1997年にインドのゴアでトランスのDJとして複数のパーティでプレイ。日本に帰国後maniac I.Qを名古屋・東京・大阪などで主宰。THE DELTA,MIDIMILIZ,SYESEM 7, SON KITE,WIZZY NOISE,DOMINOなど国内外から多くのアーティストを招きテックトランスを牽引した。自身もオーストラリアのフェスREINBOW SURPENTや国内のLABYRINTHなどでDJ A.BPMとしてプレイし、maniac I.Q recを立ち上げ3つのコンピレーションアルバムをコンパイルした。
現在はテックハウス・ディープハウス・テクノを駆使しグルーヴを紡ぐDJとして活動中。
He started his DJ career in Japan in the late 1990s and played at several parties in Goa, India, as a trance DJ in 1997. After returning to Japan, he organized maniac I.Q in Nagoya, Tokyo, Osaka, and other cities. He invited many artists from Japan and abroad, such as THE DELTA, MIDIMILIZ, SYESEM 7, SON KITE, WIZZY NOISE, and DOMINO, and led the tech trance scene. He also performed as a DJ at festivals such as Rainbow Serpent in Australia and Labyrinth in Japan, and launched 【maniac I.Q. rec】, compiling three compilation albums.
Currently, he is active as a DJ who weaves grooves using tech house, deep house, and techno.
